The Tarrant County Association of Mortgage Brokers (TCAMB) is a non-profit organization committed to promoting the highest degree of professionalism for its members and providing ethical and professional standards against which mortgage brokers can be measured.
The mortgage broker industry plays a significant role in the mortgage lending process by increasing competition and driving down costs to the consumer. Members of TCAMB follow a strict Code of Ethics and strive to make the consumer their number one priority. Our goal is to provide consumers with the highest level of professional expertise.
The mortgage broker industry in the state of Texas is regulated by the Texas Savings and Loan Department. All mortgage brokers in Texas must pass a written exam and go through an extensive application process in order to obtain licensure. Only licensed mortgage brokers are allowed to conduct business in the state of Texas.
On February 17, NAMB and the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP) signed a Memorandum of Understanding to broaden and diversify NAMB's membership and its outreach to the Hispanic community. read more »
